I had to set the sub gain at a lower volume (higher gain setting) to get it to match correctly. I use the signal into my Key 500.1 and had the same issue of low bass, even from the plug. When you change the ACM using Forscan, you will have a variable low level output (4v at volume level 30) to the plug. Thanks in advance for the help.Yes, you can pull the signal from the C-pillar using the WPT-1212 plug and going into the sub inputs on the amplifier using something like a Kicker KISL or Rockford RFI2SW. I could pull power via one of speed 9 wires from behind the head unit (yellow wire?) My other thought is to get a Dayton Audio 408 dsp. Can I pull the sub signal off the connector at the C pillar to my sub inputs? Will this give me more control over the sub via gain? Is this signal low volt or high volt? What forscan changes would make this work. It was worse before I made forscan changes. I feel the low end is lacking from my sub until I get up around 13 to 15 on volume. This is the same setup I had in my 2010 f150, except door speakers being different, and the 2010 had a 4 channel loc (cheap one from best buy) Infinity kappa 5 amp (4 channel input summing the 5th channel for the sub, pretty sure it sums the front) gains set with volume at 26 (1 year old wit 6 month use)įorscan changes done: low volt output, eq change to #0 (some say it does nothing, other still recommended), speaker detection disabled so alerts come from speakers, not the dashįor ck11 Harness and speed 9 wire takes the low volt signal to amp and then another run back up to behind head unit to tie into stock wiring (tweeter signal to A pillars come off infinity crossover via a separate run) Rockford Fosgate 10 shallow mount under passenger side rear seas, set up for down firing (2 years old) LP crossover at 80 hz Infinity reference 6.5 coax in rear door (new) HP crossover set to 70 hz ish Infinity reference 6x9 components front doors/ tweets in A pillars (new) HP crossover set to 70hz ish Truck is 2016 5.0 XLT 302a Sport supercrew, 8" sync 3 7 speaker system Looking to increase my low end response at lower levels and stay clean You can also contact our team by e-mail to schedule a consultation using the red button below. There is a lot of info below, sorry for the long post If you’re looking for better sound from your car stereo, we invite you to visit Mobile Edge in Lehighton, Pennsylvania. The client was thrilled with his stereo investment and loved the way his Ford F-150 sounds. The result is a listening experience that mimics a high-end home audio system with a nice wide soundstage and smooth frequency response. The measurements are converted to output level, signal delay and equalization settings and uploaded to the digital signal processor in the AP5.9 bit amp. The final step was to mount the microphone from our Audison bit Tune processor in the front seat so it could take frequency and phase response measurements of the resulting system. The FSC85PC10 enclosure is designed specifically for 2009 through 2014 Ford F-150 Crew Cab and SuperCrew vehicles. The next step was to mount a single 10-inch Hertz CS250S2 subwoofer in an Audio Enhancers subwoofer enclosure. We used an Audison FPK350 8-AWG kit to connect the amp to the battery. The bracket and amp are mounted under the passenger seat, and as you can see, all the wiring is wrapped in automotive-grade cloth tape to protect it. Our fabrication team welded together a steel mounting bracket for the amp that attaches to the bottom of the seat. The thin Hertz subwoofer was a perfect choice for this truck.
